 Karakoram -K2 Peak of Himalayas:-

We know it as Austin Goodwin. K2 is also named Austin Goodwin. An English photographer explored this Himalayan peak who's name was Austin Goodwin so it is named after his name .

In local language , they call it " Chogo Ri " , it means The Great Mountain.

Karakoram K2 is the second highest peak in the world.

The K 2 is at an elevation of 8611 metres above mean sea level . 
In feet it is 28250 feet . First is Mount Everest 29032 feet .

  Himalaya:-  Lesser Himalayas or Mid Himalayas :- Beautiful View of Lesser Himalayas Previously we have studied about the Great Himalayas or Himadri , in this post we will see  the Himachal or Lesser Himalayas .
