 Makalu Peak , The 

Peaks of Himalayas:-

The Makalu Peak is having elevation of 8481 metres above mean sea level and it is fifth highest peak in the world .

This peak is located in Mahalangur mountain range of Nepal , South East of Mount Everest is in the border between Nepal and Tibet .




Snow cladded Makalu Peak

Makalu word is taken from Sanskrit , ," Mahakal" which indicates Lord Shiva. 

It is an isolated peak in four sided pyramid shape .

  Himalaya:-  Lesser Himalayas or Mid Himalayas :- Beautiful View of Lesser Himalayas Previously we have studied about the Great Himalayas or Himadri , in this post we will see  the Himachal or Lesser Himalayas . It is also called Mid Himalayas .
