  Makalu Peak , The  Peaks of Himalayas:- The Makalu Peak is having elevation of 8481 metres above mean sea level and it is fifth highest peak in the world . Beautiful Morning view of Makalu Peak  This peak is located in Mahalangur mountain range of Nepal , South East of Mount Everest is in the border between Nepal and Tibet . Snow cladded Makalu Peak Makalu word is taken from Sanskrit , ," Mahakal" which indicates Lord Shiva.  It is an isolated peak in four sided pyramid shape . The Fourth highest peak ," Lhoste" of Himalayas

  The Fourth highest Peak of Himalayas,"  Lhoste " Fourth Highest Peak of Himalayas  Lhoste  The Himalayas 's fourth highest peak in the world is 'Lhoste ' .   It is 8516 metres above mean sea level. In feets it is 27940 feet .  The Lhoste peak is situated on the border between Tibet in the Autonomous region of China and Nepal in Khumbu region . Snow cladded Lhoste Mountains  It is called South Peak as it is connected With South valley from the Everest . It is first ascent by Fritz Luchsinger and Ernst Reiss in 18 May 1956 and in winter in 31 December 1988 by Krzysztof Wielicki . View of Himalayas Lhoste peak  This peak was attempted to climb in ,1955 by International Himalayan Expedition , headed by Norman Dyhrenfurth  but due to unexpected strong winds they could not succeed and turned to North West face of Lhoste about 8100 metres above mean sea level.

  The 3rd highest  peak  in the world:- The 3rd Highest peak in the world "Kangchenjunga is also spelled Kanchenjunga is 8586 metres above mean sea level . In feets it is 28169 feet . Kangchenjunga Peak of Himalayas  We find this peak in in the Eastern Himalayas on the border of Sikkim , North Eastern India and Eastern Nepal . This mountain comes in Greater Himalayas. View of Himalayas Kangchenjunga The rocks of this Himalayan range is of Neoproterozoic to Ordovician age. This period is about 445 million to one billion years old . It's name is combination of four words of Tibetan origin. These are :- Kang - Chen - dzo - nga . It means " Five Treasure of Great Snow ." The mountain range of Kangchenjunga experiences heavy snowfall in summer and Monsoon and lighter snow fall in winter . Kangchenjunga Peak Experiences snowfall.

  Karakoram -K2 Peak of Himalayas:- We know it as Austin Goodwin. K2 is also named Austin Goodwin. An English photographer explored this Himalayan peak who's name was Austin Goodwin so it is named after his name . This peak is 8848.86 metres high above mean sea level . In feets it is 29032 metres above mean sea level . It is also named Sagarmatha and Chomolungma. Mount Everest is the highest peak in the world . The Mount Everest falls in Nepal and Tibet . Mount Everest was first climbed by Tenzing and Hillary in 1953. The range in which it comes is Khumbu Himal range. Initially Mount Everest was named peak XXV but later it was named after the name of British Surveyor General to India. Sir George Everest was a British Surveyor and Geographer . He served as Surveyor General of India from 1830 to 1843. Mount Everest View  He wad born on 4 th July and passed away on December 1st 1866.
